No Bake Nutella Balls (chocolate truffles)

Here’s a new favourite truffle I added to our Christmas cookie boxes this year. I’ll share with you how to make No Bake Nutella Balls covered in chocolate with a few sprinkles to make them look festive. These were so delicious. I had a hard time not eating all of them myself. Super Simple Stewed Beef

There's really nothing to this recipe. You need very few ingredients to make this stewed beef.  It's simple and delicious!

This is what it looks like when it's done. Not too much liquid left.

Super Simple Stewed Beef
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs stewing beef or veal, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • water
Directions
  1. Heat oil in a nonstick pot over medium high heat. Fry the meat on all sides until browned. You may have to do this in 2 or 3 batches. Sprinkle turmeric, salt and pepper over the meat and stir. Add the bay leaves and cover the meat with water.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium and put the lid on the pot. Simmer for about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Check on it regularly. If the water starts to run out add a little more. The end result shouldn't be liquidy.
  3. Serve with rice or potatoes.
