No Bake Nutella Balls (chocolate truffles)

Here’s a new favourite truffle I added to our Christmas cookie boxes this year. I’ll share with you how to make No Bake Nutella Balls covered in chocolate with a few sprinkles to make them look festive. These were so delicious. I had a hard time not eating all of them myself. You can crush the graham crackers yourself, but I just purchased a box of crumbs. Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

I just LOVE peanut butter and chocolate together. Here’s something that I haven’t baked for Christmas in a long time. This year I decided it was time to make some.

The recipe is very easy, but for some reason mine fell flat. I did double the recipe so that could have something to do with it. It doesn’t matter because they are still soft and delicious!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
Adapted from Allrecipes.com
Makes 18 cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter (not the natural kind)
  • 1 egg
  • 18 Hershey’s kisses, unwrapped
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Combine sugar, peanut butter, and egg until a dough forms.
  3. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on prepared cookie sheet. Press down to flatten slightly.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Remove cookies from oven and press a kiss into the centre of each cookie while they’re still warm.
  6. Cool completely before stacking. I put mine in the freezer for a few minutes to hurry things along. The kisses take awhile to harden on their own.
