Ingredients
3 cups cooked pasta
1 can tuna, drained
1 cup frozen peas or mixed vegetables
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup 2% milk
salt
pepper
3 tablespoons bread crumbs
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F.
In a 9 x 9 glass casserole dish, mix frozen veggies, tuna and cooked noodles.
In a nonstick pot, melt butter on medium high heat, stir in flour and cook for a minute or two until it starts to turn golden. Add milk and bring to a boil. Stir until thick. Add salt & pepper as needed then toss with the noodle mixture.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the cheese then top the whole thing with the last 1/2 cup of cheese and bread crumbs. Bake until golden and bubbly.
