No Bake Nutella Balls (chocolate truffles)

Here’s a new favourite truffle I added to our Christmas cookie boxes this year. I’ll share with you how to make No Bake Nutella Balls covered in chocolate with a few sprinkles to make them look festive. These were so delicious. I had a hard time not eating all of them myself. You can crush the graham crackers yourself, but I just purchased a box of crumbs. Pizza Dough

I prefer my pizza on thin crust so i would recommend rolling this dough out thinly. It was a little dense, but I imagine that's because the dough didn't have a chance to rise for very long.

The original recipe doesn't say anything about rising at all but now that I've tried it, I would say that we should give it time to rise. Let it rise for longer than 30 minutes if you've got time.

Adapted from Allrecipes.com
Makes enough for 1 large pizza or 1 extra large thin crust pizza

Ingredients
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon rapid rise yeast (or 1 packet)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
Directions
  1. Mix dry ingredients then make a well in the centre. Add oil and water then use your hands to mix it until it forms a ball. There shouldn't be any crumbs left in the bowl.
  2. Rub with a little oil and cover with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes (or longer) while you prepare your toppings.
  3. Add toppings and cheese as desired and bake in a preheated 375F oven for about 25 minutes or until your toppings are cooked.
